Our Story

Our Dedication

At Transparency Fitness, we believe that everyone deserves access to honest, effective, and empowering fitness guidance—no matter their age, ability, or experience level. Our approach is rooted in education, sustainability, and real-life results.

We don’t just lead workouts—we teach people to take ownership of their health through simple, smart movement. Whether you’re working out at home, in the gym, or within a care facility, we help you understand your body, listen to your needs, and build routines that last.

Your goals aren’t out of reach. And the first step is clarity. That’s what it means to be transparent.

 Our Mission

Our mission is to enrich lives through movement that empowers. We teach older adults and their communities how to care for their bodies with confidence—inside and outside the gym.

By equipping individuals with knowledge about exercise, strength training, and nutrition, we help them become the leaders of their own wellness journey.

We don’t just support progress—we help you understand it, own it, and sustain it. From the kitchen to the gym to your daily routine, our programs are built to educate, inspire, and transform.

See where you are. Get to where you want to be. That’s the Transparency way.

Our Story

David Disponett launched Transparency Fitness in Lexington, Kentucky, during the height of COVID-19, when traditional gyms were closed and reliable fitness options were hard to come by. What started as a personal home gym quickly evolved into something more—a space where people could feel empowered in their bodies again.

As David shared his passion for fitness with others, he found a unique opportunity to serve older adults in retirement communities. Many residents were struggling to maintain strength, mobility, and independence—especially after months of isolation. David knew that with the right support, these individuals could rebuild routines, reclaim energy, and live fuller lives.

That discovery transformed Transparency Fitness into more than a personal gym. It became a movement—one focused on helping people age with strength, purpose, and grace.
