David Disponett
As the founder of Transparency Fitness, I believe that movement is more than exercise, especially as we age. It’s about connection, confidence, and the personal care we bring to every session. I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can help people of any age live stronger, more empowered lives, and I’m proud to help make that possible.
My own fitness journey began in the pool as a competitive swimmer, and continued through my service as an E-3 Yeoman in the U.S. Navy. After leaving the military in 2009, I experienced the same challenge many adults do—how hard it can be to maintain your health when life gets busy. That challenge turned into a calling.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I started Transparency Fitness out of my home gym in Lexington, Kentucky, working with clients one-on-one. As I began partnering with senior living communities, I discovered something deeper: that fitness could be a powerful tool to help older adults regain not just strength and balance, but joy, dignity, and independence.
Today, with certifications from NASM and Precision Nutrition, I lead a team that brings compassionate, expert-led fitness to individuals and communities throughout the region. Whether through personalized training or group classes, I strive to meet every client with respect, encouragement, and the kind of care that makes them feel seen.

As a certified personal trainer through NASM and a Precision Nutrition specialist, I’m equipped with the knowledge and tools to guide you through every step of your fitness journey—whether you're just starting out, overcoming challenges, or pushing toward peak performance.
With experience working with special populations, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, ensuring safe, effective, and empowering progress. My own fitness journey began on the football field in high school, where discipline, hard work, and passion for performance first took root. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others become the strongest, healthiest, and most confident versions of themselves.
